SO WHAT IS TELEHEALTH CARE?
It’s virtual healthcare from the safety and comfort of your home.
Telehealth is the use of electronic information and telecommunication technologies to extend care from the comfort of your home and at a time that works best for you. If you have a phone or a device with an internet connection, you already have everything you need to do telehealth, including:

Talking to a UC1L volunteer healthcare professional virtually over the phone or video chat.
Confidentiality in communication.
Sending and Receiving messages from us using chat messaging, email, secure messaging, and secure file exchange.

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency, the federal government has taken concrete steps to make telehealth services easier to implement and access including the use of popular video chat applications with patients — including Apple FaceTime, Facebook Messenger video chat, Google Hangouts video, Zoom, or Skype.
